Tom Shanx

Tom Shanx is a versatile DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and event manager based in London, UK. With a background in physiotherapy and a strong passion for mental health advocacy, Tom brings a unique perspective to his work. As part of the management team at Radiate, he contributes to the company’s growth and success while also owning and operating the mobile stage Box Rouge.

Starting his journey with a love for Disco and Funk, Tom’s musical style has expanded over the years, incorporating influences from jazz, soul, reggae, hip-hop, and electronic genres. His sets are renowned for blending live bass guitar with diverse musical styles, often drawing from his European travels. More recently, he has honed in on broken beats, driving basslines, and a deep affinity for 90’s garage, techno, and jungle, delivering dynamic sets that cater to any crowd, from intimate spaces to festival main stages.

Tom has been taking his music across the UK and France, with highlights including his self-organised “Snow & Sun Tour” and performances at major festivals like Boomtown, Isle of Wight, and Leeds. Specialising in extended (3+hr) sets, he creates a sonic journey that blends electric and acoustic elements, often incorporating live instruments.

His latest initiative, “Bring Your Own Vibe,” is an open platform that encourages collaboration among up-and-coming artists and musicians, fostering a vibrant creative community.
