TOASTED

Newcastle-based DJ and producer Charlie Morgan, better known as TOASTED, has rapidly made a name for himself in the UK underground scene. A classically trained musician turned Speed Garage, Jungle, and Drum & Bass powerhouse, TOASTED is known for his signature high-energy sound—self-described as “poppy white girl 147bpm speedy speed garage club weapons” designed to get crowds singing along.

Originally studying classical music at a school near Oxford, TOASTED first honed his production skills before falling in love with UK dance music. Drawing inspiration from across the spectrum of UK club culture, his dynamic sets and productions have propelled him to stages across the UK and beyond.

2024 marked a breakthrough year, with standout performances in York, Newcastle, Corfu, and Jersey, as well as appearances in the Alps. TOASTED has shared the stage with leading names such as Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase, Soul Mass Transit System, and Badger. He also made a strong impact at AJAM, playing alongside MPH and Anais.

As a producer, TOASTED gained widespread recognition when his track ‘Jamrock Dub’ went viral after being played by heavyweight Saint Ludo in her iconic Boiler-Room set-in Liverpool, and her set in Warehouse Project Manchester. In January 2025, he followed up with Rush Me, released across all major streaming platforms. His music has received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and consistent editorial support from Spotify, with playlist placements in [INSERT PLAYLIST NAMES].

Beyond his own career, TOASTED is committed to supporting emerging talent. At university, he founded the event series and label DRUMGL, providing a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform and release their music.
